Our own Silver Back. Barry has spent the past 30 years working in Communications. From 1978 until 1992 he rose through the ranks from Sales Engineer to Managing Director at Texscan Instruments Ltd. In this time Barry worked on LAN’s, Defence Electronics and Cable TV. In 1992 he left Texscan with Jonathan and Trevor to set up Trilithic Limited, which today is known as Asheridge Communications.
Jonathan (Chins) Rigby
Known as Chins to his friends for obvious reasons!. Jonathan's working life started in the Royal Navy attempting to keep Her Majesty’s Warships afloat and operational. Marriage put an end to this in 1988 and he joined Texscan Instruments as a Sales Engineer. He has spent the time from then until now working in Cable TV and Audio Visual. In an attempt to double his vocabulary, Jonathan completed an MBA at Henley Management College. All the staff would like to thank him for his new ideas! We love playing Bullsh*t Bingo. He has a passion for cars and is known to change them more often than most people change their socks sometimes forgetting whether they are petrol or diesel. When not out driving or keeping his wife and daughters happy, Jonathan is known as The Bandit by his Golfing friends.

CI PersonnelKey personnel involved in the Custom Installation and AV Engineering business at Asheridge are:
Kevin (Lucan) Swanton
Kevin looks after sales in the UK. After finishing school, Kevin joined the RAF as an engineer trying to keep planes on course. On completion of his military service, Kevin went into sales of Fibre Optic and Electronic Components with Walmore. In 1997 his talent was spotted by Jonathan and he joined the company. Kevin has spent his early time in Cable TV and for the past 8 years developing the Audio Visual side of the company.
Jason (Torchy) Dando
Jason Dando has been working in the AV industry for over 10 years and has gained a wide ranging experience of both analogue and digital systems, starting from the early days of digital still camera technology. Working for Asheridge Communications for the past 3 years he has had a lot of experience with HDMI and its integration in to matrix and distribution systems. We all believe he is a closet Goth as he is rarely seen without his trademark Black turtleneck and Black trousers. Jason has now moved into product management at the company. Jason lives near Swindon and is married with two children. Colour coordination is not an issue for Torchy, an all black wardrobe sees to that. His nickname is due to his likeness to Torchy – for those of you old enough to remember.
Accounts Personnel
Sarah (Munchkin) Parker
Being chased for payments by accounts or just phoned in then there is a good chance you have spoken to Sarah. Sarah joined Asheridge last year after spending time working for Staples Head Office. At Asheridge she backs up Trevor our FD ensuring we manage our cash, complete timely returns to the authorities as well as paying our suppliers and the salespeople’s interesting expenses. Away from the office she has a lot of special interests including, but not limited to changing her hair colour every other week and going to concerts. They say short people are fiery and she is not the exception to the rule. Apparently you can’t wind her up, but its good fun trying and Stuart is a winner on this front.
