Installers are now finding that more applications and services require an increasing amount of cable bandwidth and it has become apparent that cat5e,Cat6 and coax cables can no longer support longer cable runs. These longer cable runs can, however, be easily supported by the use of fibre optic cables.
Asheridge supply a range of multimode and single mode fibre optic cables in a number different cable constructions including loose tube and tight buffered cables. In conjunction with Tyco electronics, we are able to offer the simple to terminate’ Light Crimp’ fibre optic solution including cables and connectors.
The Light crimp system is a simple , ‘no glue & polish’ cable termination system that can enable installers to easily install and terminate fibre optic connectors on site without expensive termination equipment. Asheridge can also supply full training with each kit supplied if required.
These products are available from stock and can be used in conjunction with a variety of cable management products including fibre optic patch panels, wall boxes and outlets as well as the necessary patch cords and pigtails.
To make life easier for installers we can also supply the full range of Fibre optic test equipment from Fluke networks including light sources, power meters and visible light sources.
