The lighting system can be set 10-15% lower at maximum levels; while this is mostly imperceptible to the human eye it could easily save 2 kw/h per day in an average four bedroom house.

Use of Helvar’s unique multi sensors to make sure lights are not left on unnecessarily could easily save another 1 kw/h per day in the same house.

At current electricity prices this could add up to a financial saving of over £200 per year.

This also saves the emission of over 470 KG of carbon in the same period.

The custom UK faceplates are based on the Wandsworth 3A series, giving hundreds of options at a very small premium.

The options don’t end there, with the Mini Input Units any switch, momentary or latch, can be incorporated into the digital system.

With a Helvar system there is no need for expensive proprietary cabling, all the control channels can be run down any two core cable, even good old fashioned Twin and Earth.

For the new build market we offer a system where you can install just the central housing at a very low price which enables you to then wire in a conventional system or the Helvar digital system depending on the preference of the buyer.
